 A thorough psychiatric evaluation can help determine the presence or absence of a mental illness in context of a patient's level of functioning. Ruling out underlying medical conditions that may cause, mimic or exacerbate psychiatric symptoms critical to your provider and understanding your overall health status. 

We provide a wide range of testing/assessments, including:

• extensive bloodwork 
• genetic testing for psychotropic medication management 
• genetic testing for presence of MTHFR gene mutations 
• ADHD 
• Bipolarity 
• Psychotic Disorders
• Affective disorders/depressive disorders 
• Personality Disorders
• Substance Abuse Disorders 
• AIMS- Extrapyramidal side effects
• Neurocognitive impairment 

We utilize a battery of and a variety of testing modalities, which allow us to do diverse, targeted, and in-depth testing in order to gain a deeper understanding into your symptomatology. 

A comprehensive report is sent to the client (or parents if subject is a minor) and can be sent to schools and professionals with written consent from the client. The report describes the tests given, the results, and recommendations which can include placement recommendations and support help needed, plus very specific remedial and compensatory recommendations should this be needed. 

As a part of the evaluation, we are pleased to talk with you regarding questions about your results and/or our recommendations. We will also speak with your other providers, teachers, legal etc to provide continuity of care through optimized communication. In rare cases, there may be an hourly charge for certain consultations.
